MXIA X 18ct Earring
MXIA X 18ct Earring
The gold in the MXIA X earring comes from a Fairtrade certified mine in Peru. The earring is a 10mm cross that is also the MXIA monogram. The earring is 18ct solid gold, hallmarked 750, Fairtrade certified and stamped with the Fairtrade logo. The X earring is sold separately, because I like to mix things up and seldom wear matching earrings. If you want a pair, then choose two items (the price EUR 118 is for one earring).
On treasure maps (either historic or from children’s bed time stories), the location of the gold is often marked with an X or cross. Isn’t it quite fun, that the mark for MXIA is a X or cross, marking the location of gold?
If you love solid gold jewelry, help make a difference in the gold industry by choosing Fairtrade gold. It really makes a difference to the miners and their communities.
I hope you like the simple and playful design of these earrings.
Regarding shipping:
I am still aiming to ship orders as normal, within 2-3 days. However, because I don´t always have all products on stock, I need to ask that you allow me some extra production and shipping time. Also, because of the pandemic, postal services all over the world are delayed due to tighter border controls and restrictions of movement, therefore exact times of arrival are tricky to predict. Many thanks for your understanding and a BIG thank you for your support. It means so much to me!

I recently spoke to Alan Frampton, the owner of Cred Jewellery in London. He just came back from a trip to Peru where he visited the miners that have mined the gold in this item. He has seen and experienced the wonderful social development happening there, and it’s all because we are able to supply and sell Fairtrade gold. “I ask myself daily, what have we done for the miners today?” said Alan at the end of our conversation. I like this approach, and that is why I am sharing it here on our webpage. Have a great day. Best, -Maria.
