The gold in the MIA Reykjavik X necklace comes from a Fairtrade certified mine in Peru. The X is a 10mm cross that is also the MIA Reykjavik mark. The necklace is 9ct solid gold, hallmarked 375, Fairtrade certified and stamped with the Fairtrade logo. It is also marked with MIA Reykjavik’s brand tag for quality purposes and an International convention mark. Chain: 45 cm.

On treasure maps (either historic or from children’s bed time stories), the location of the gold is often marked with an X or cross. Isn’t it quite fun, that the mark for MIA Reykjavik is a X or cross, marking the location of gold? And this time, the gold is responsibly sourced.
